Fake News!

I swear, this is getting out of control.

If you disagree with something, it's now the done thing to dismiss it as "fake news". What a great stinking load of crap.

Let's just step away from the fact that Senator Roberts is a misinformed intellectual midget for a moment. Fake news is a real problem. From the whole "Vaccines cause autism" nonsense to the "Halal certification funds terrorism" bullshit, right up to the crap that happened in the USA election recently, it has a bunch of long-lasting effects. People who aren't clever enough to actually compare the information presented to them with the evidence at hand are falling for this nonsense, hand over fist. It's a problem.

I don't have solution for this. But what I can say is that relegating information you disagree with to "fake news" you're just diminishing the problem.
